These pieces were designed to exacting specifications to fit into a home office. The office is located on the third floor of an 18th century home. The components had to be carried up a set of an antique servants stairwell and assembled in place. The desk and return tops were made out of a book-matched set of walnut planks filled with matte black epoxy. The bases are made from red oak and ebonized with a steel wool and vinegar solution that preserves the beautiful grain in the oak.
